The third recorded release by Casual Crypt was inspired by the Sierra Azul Preserve in Santa Clara county. James would hike, cycle and explore during the day, and write and record this album in the evenings. Recorded during the Pandemic of 2020, - James did his best to stay sane with extensive sunshine and being outside with nature. UVAS is a combination of electronic pop, ambient, leftfield pop.
